Last year, Sheba whelped on Christmas Eve.
This year, Christmas Eve was her ultrasound appointment.
The vet counted 5 viable puppies that were large enough to show up on the scan this afternoon, and advised us to expect more.
She said Sheba may give birth to double that many as the puppies are only about one cm long now and a little difficult to spot.
We are so excited, we can’t tell you!

We are assured of at least five puppies and Sheba’s due date is the last day of January!
